Station House, Malvern, was built in the 1800s and was part of the original Railway Station at Malvern Link. During the Beeching cuts in the 1960s, the station was demolished after falling into disrepair – however, the Station House survived. The property has undergone extensive renovation to bring the building back to its former glory and has been divided into three luxury self contained holiday lets.
Platform Three is one unit at Station House, Malvern. Featuring a reverse level layout, it has been finished to the highest standard with many special finishing touches. It features industrial / London Underground styling throughout and really is a gem of a find!!!
The accommodation sleeps up for four people over two double bedrooms. The two bedrooms each feature their own en-suite wet room and WC / basin. Each bedroom has its own smart TV.
The entry hall features a wonderful two penny flooring, tunnel effect ceiling and decor and leads onto the self contained garden area with the hot tub (the perfect spot for a bit of unique train spotting!!). The hot tub is surrounded by privacy Perspex which allows you to enjoy watching the hustle and bustle of the station without feeling too overlooked in the jacuzzi!
The stairs lead you to the open plan living / kitchen / dining area which provides ample space for cooking, eating and relaxing. There is a hob, oven, combo microwave oven grill, dishwasher, washer dryer, fridge / freezer and all necessary utensils and cooking apparatus. The living area features a smart TV and a selection of board / card games to enjoy (mostly in keeping with the Railway theme!)
The living area opens out onto the floating balcony which features outdoor table and chairs, and a very unique bath bench! Here you can enjoy the trains and station life from a birds eye view!
All of your bed linen, towels and robes are provided for the duration of your stay. We also include a generous welcome hamper for all of our guests (with a bottle of bubbly and some treats to enjoy!).
