Situated on the edge of a working farm, the surrounding views are sublime, taking in patchwork fields and the hills of the Dales in the distance. The interiors are cleverly crafted to maximise space and beautifully finished with rustic wooden floors, walls and eclectic furniture. The super comfy double bed is dressed in fabulous country style linens for a restful night’s sleep. Outside, the wood-fired hot tub is simply blissful and the perfect way to relax and rejuvenate or perhaps just light the fire in the fire pit and enjoy the peace and quiet listening to bird song.

The Georgian market town of Richmond is a short 15-minute drive away, offering a grand castle, charming, cobbled streets and a fabulous collection of independent shops. Head for Barnard Castle, or Raby Castle or perhaps the grand spa town of Harrogate and a treat at Betty’s Café. Closer to home, Thorp Farm is ideal for picking up supplies of home-grown local produce.

For more energetic activities, walkers and cyclists will be spoilt for choice with many routes and trails to choose from right from the doorstep.
